After tests today...
I started to read Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers…
I had never read the books before, but I had seen all the movies about five times each. Now, I realize that the books are always different from the movies and I was totally ready to have my mind blown by awesome writing, or have it numbed by complex sentence structure that would not be absorbed by my fried brain…
But, not even 100 pages in I was already “fan-girling” for a lack of a better word. The sad thing was, I had to remain in my seat utterly silent so as not to disturb other people who weren’t done. It took a large amount of self control to not just exclaim
OH MY GOD, THIS IS ART! THIS IS THE GREATEST THING I HAVE READ ALL YEAR! LIFE HAS NEW MEANING! AAAAAAHHHHH!”
